I’ve been given some funding by the PRS for Music Foundation to write a series of songs about delirium in intensive care; I’m hoping to document the development of the ideas here, and to include transcriptions of interviews.

There was a fascinating and pertinent programme last weekend on BBR Radio 4 about Paul Robertson and John Taverner, and their respective ‘near(?) death’ experiences. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01mf7nd/Hearing_Ragas/

And here’s an introduction to the phenomenon http://www.icudelirium.co.uk/

My own introduction came thanks to a project by Tim Wainwright and John Wynne: http://www.thetransplantlog.com
